MEERKAT are recruiting...— 03/10/11
MEERKATworks is looking for an experienced media planner/buyer with a minimum of 4 years in the media industry.
We are looking for someone who will be able to buy and plan across different media channels such as outdoor, press and online. Good administration and communication skills are essential as well as excellent negotiating skills and a specialism in at least one area of buying.
The desire to learn and be part of a growing advertising agency is essential as well as the ability to cold call and communicate effectively with a broad cross section of people.
Other important skills:
Previous experience working within either an advertising agency or media owner
Proven track record of account management in the media industry
Excellent communication and administration skills - able to multitask and remain focussed
Good timekeeping and strong work ethic
The ability and desire to work as part of a team
Good presentation and a sense of humour.
Flexible and creative in your approach to projects
No day is ever the same so the ability to think on your feet is also an important skill to have.
