The Brief

To run a press campaign to promote the fjord region of Norway as a desirable destination for UK holidaymakers.

Fjord Norway and Norwegian Airlines have joined forces for a UK press campaign that has been bought and planned by MEERKAT Works.

MEERKAT approached the campaign with a view to effectively promoting the fjord region of Norway to UK holidaymakers. Adverts are running in the Metro and the Times across the months of July, August and September, 2011.

The centre-piece of the press campaign is a series of Focus Reports that will appear in the Times; one each for Alesund, Bergen and Stavanger. These have been designed to give UK readers a clearer idea of the unique appeal of the Norwegian fjords.

The Fjord Norway press campaign is running alongside a series of online promotions for the tourist board.
